Navigating APHA, Part II: What to Expect.

Apply Now: Summer Urban Health Experience

The first annual Urban Health Experience (UHE) will be held this summer, June 7 to August 3. The UHE is designed for undergraduates in all health professions who want to investigate many of the community-level factors that impact the health of urban populations.

The experience includes opportunities to be mentored by public health professionals and current graduate students, learn about various urban health topics, and investigate specific problems facing urban communities.

The program includes synchronous and asynchronous online activities and an in-person session providing certification in Mental Health First Aid. Training in NARCAN distribution is also included, and participants will receive NARCAN supplies.
