HRSA Virtual Job Fair for Rural Communities – Jan 10

The January Virtual Job Fair will feature recruiters from rural communities and allow recent grads and job seekers to learn more about job opportunities, hear details about benefit packages, and find out how you can help underserved communities.

During the fair, you will learn about available training and employment opportunities, benefit packages offered, and general information about patient populations. Positions in medicine, nursing, dentistry and behavioral health are advertised. All employers are approved National Health Service Corp sites or Nurse Corp sites.

Virtual Job Fairs are live and fully interactive. A key feature of the fair is the virtual breakout room, in which employers are given 15 minutes to present their site, the community they serve and the positions that are currently available.

Participants can visit a variety of breakout rooms over the course of the event. Opportunities for further contact with a prospective employer are readily available. A chat room is available for participants to connect with each other during the event. Learn more about Virtual Job Fairs.

HRSA recommends that participants create a searchable professional profile using its Health Workforce Connector. This allows employers to look for appropriate candidates and reach out to them as positions become available. A searchable profile is not required, however, for participation in the Virtual Job Fair.
