Announcing the Relaunch of the Rural Pediatrics ECHO Learning Collaborative

The American Academy of Pediatrics‘ NRACH ECHO Training Center is relaunching the Rural Pediatrics ECHO Learning Collaborative.

The National Rural Adolescent and Child Health (NRACH) ECHO Training Center to help ensure that children and adolescents who live in rural and frontier communities have access to pediatric mental and behavioral health services and quality pediatric care to support optimal health outcomes and improved quality of life.

Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) programs create knowledge networks by using technology to connect specialty care providers and subject matter experts with care teams in rural and underserved areas. AAP ECHO programs utilize an “all-teach, all-learn” approach that includes a combination of didactic learning about best-practices, case studies from participants, and quality improvement protocols to improve care delivery.

The Rural Pediatrics ECHO Learning Collaborative is a space for individuals or organizations that are leading pediatric or rural ECHOs or are interestes in learing more about such ECHOs to gather, connect and share learnings.

The sessions are open to anyone running or interested in learning about ECHO programs for the rural pediatric population or providers.
