This academic event will gather Latinx affirming health experts, medical Spanish educators and leaders to provide education centered on Latinx health topics for physicians, other health professionals, and students.

Experts in health care, education, and advocacy will present plenary sessions as well as themed tracks on areas impacting Latinx health and communication (public health and infectious diseases, LGBTQ health, cancer and chronic diseases, structural barriers, and Spanish for better health outcomes).

An academic poster session will be a unique opportunity for participants to demonstrate their innovative scholarly achievements.

The event will be bilingual in English and in Spanish. With a theme this year of “Making Connections,” the event is aimed at all individuals who work toward improving Hispanic/Latinx health.
