The Health & Medicine Policy Research Group is seeking a Youth Career Pathway Program Coordinator (Coordinator) who will develop, implement, and track training programs and supplemental services for youth entering the health workforce.
The Coordinator will contribute to Health & Medicine’s Chicago Workforce portfolio in two main areas: training programs and systems support.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with two years’ work experience, or some college with three years’ work experience. Experience developing and managing successful job training programs, collaborative projects with diverse partners, and working with youth and early career professionals is required. Familiarity with health care or public health roles and employers, and with Chicago area workforce development partners, is preferred.
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. Health & Medicine’s offices are located in downtown Chicago and operate using a hybrid model: staff work in the office 2 days per week and remotely for 3 days per week.
This position is grant funded through August 2025. Possibilities to extend or transfer this role may exist in the future.
