Young Doctors Club Health Fair – May 7

The Young Doctors Club health fair will be held at Lawndale Christian Health Center in Chicago on Sunday, May 7.

At the annual event, which combines with a school-year end celebration, kids participate in educating the community about health. Club members present their work and are recognized. The health fair also offers free health screenings.

Since 2009, the Young Doctors Club has created a way for medical students in the UIC Urban Medicine program (UMEd) to teach North Lawndale elementary, middle, and high school students about health sciences and careers in the health professions. Along with UMed, the club is sponsored by the Lawndale Christian Health Center, Albert Schweitzer Fellowship program, and the Chicago AHEC center.

We hope you can make it!
