Woodford County Hiring Part-Time Public Health Nurse

The Woodford County Health Department is seeking a registered nurse to provide public health nursing services and comprehensive patient care to individuals, families, and population groups in the community.

Qualifications: A Registered Nursing license required, a Bachelor of Science preferred. Public Health Nursing experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients ages. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation is also required. Experience in public health education is preferred.

The position is as needed, with a flexible schedule of 8 to 16 hours per week. Starting rate is $21 an hour.
