Woodford County Health Department Is Hiring

The department has posted several positions with responsibilities for helping keep county residents safe and healthy.

A valid Illinois driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance, and access to
reliable transportation is required for all these positions.

Full-Time Community Health Education Specialist – Assists with community health needs assessment and with implementation planning required for certification of a local health department, as well as with action planning, workgroups, implementation of programs. Learn more and apply

Part-Time Emergency Response Coordinator – Develops required public health emergency preparedness and response plans and the department’s Cities Readiness Initiative Plan, as well as key components of the Medical Countermeasure Plan. Learn more and apply

Part-Time Public Health Nurse – Plans and implements activities for projects,
including for immunization, TB, lead, and STI; coordinates with other members of the nursing team to assure coordinated care of each client; delivers targeted, culturally appropriate information to the community. Learn more and apply
