West Central AHEC Director Mary Jane Clark visited Monmouth College in February to promote health care careers for students interested in the health professions.

Her presentation included an opportunity to take part in hands-on activities such as suturing and blood pressure checks.

Monmouth College offers an “Introduction to Health Careers” class, designed to inform students about various health care careers.

The class also reviews expectations and requirements for students to apply to a professional school after graduation.
