This virtual job shadowing event will focus on HIV and primary care.

Join Angela Kapalko, PA-C, AAHIVS, as she discusses her journey to becoming a PA-C and walks you through a day in the life of a HIV specialist/primary care PA. She will give an overview of the specialty, complete patient cases and provide updated information on HIV medicine. She’ll also be available to answer any questions you may have.

Virtual job shadowing is the next best thing to being there. It lets you look in on a health care professional’s day without having to visit in person.

The event is presented by the NSBPA, a group of certified physician assistants working to address the lack of diversity in the field and challenges many Black PAs and PA students face through the creation of a community that will encourage knowledge sharing, mentorship, and support.
