Virtual Health in Rural Communities – Lunch & Learn Apr 16

Madelyn Bennett, manager of virtual services at Carle Health, will be giving a presentation on “Virtual Health in Rural Communities.”

Madelyn Bennett, BBA, PMP.She will be discussing the importance of virtual health in rural areas, efforts being put forth to expand virtual services, and she will also touch on how the nursing role has evolved along with the expansion of virtual services.

Madelyn has overseen many virtual health initiatives throughout the Carle Health system over the past 5 years.

Madelon has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She recently presented on lessons learned in implementing facility-wide telemedicine technology at Carle Health System at the annual Educational Conference of the Illinois Rural Health Association.

Carle Health operates hospitals in Illinois and a health plan (Health Alliance) with locations in Indiana, Washington and North Carolina.
