Understanding and Serving the Underserved – Begins Feb. 9

The Illinois Primary Health Case Association has announced a virtual program for students, Understand and Serving America’s Underserved: An Introduction to Community Health Centers. The program is offered in a virtual, self-paced format. It is designed for all students interested in careers in Federal Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs).

The self-paced virtual experience will include educational sessions on serving underserved populations and will feature presentations with current FQHC providers including doctors, dentists and behavioral health specialists. Loan repayment opportunities available through FQHCs and IPHCA’s recruitment services will also be discussed.
