It’s National Public Health Week, and the UIC School of Public Health has a variety of interesting and engaging events lined up.
Among the events are a presentation on Voting, Infrastructure, and Health, a Climate Changes Health Distinguished Lecture, a walking tour of the murals in the Pilsen neighborhood, and a screening of the documentary The Hills followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Ines Sommer. The Hills is about an abandoned toxic slag hill on the Southeast side of Chicago.
Some events are both offered in-person and virtually. All events are open to the SPH Community. See more information on each event.
