UIC College of Pharmacy Seeks College Recruiter

This position recruits prospective professional and graduate students through to meet the enrollment goals of the Rockford and Chicago programs and the University. This highly visible position performs targeted outreach to both internal and external constituencies, legislators, community leaders, and organizations to establish and grow professional relationships with prospective students, parents, counselors and educators, high schools, and colleges through in-person/print, online, and social media networking.

Located on either the Chicago or Rockford campus, the recruiter serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students to provide preadmissions advising and respond to inquiries and concerns. A key job component evaluating and recommending program changes.

Extensive travel during academic year is expected.

A minimum of a related Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree in Higher Education, Health Professions, Communications, Counseling, or a related field is preferred. Applicants must have least one years of experience in higher education setting, student recruiting, admissions or graduate/professional advising, counseling, or related experience.

The UIC College of Pharmacy, with campuses in Chicago and Rockford is the No. 7 school of pharmacy in the nation, and one of the oldest pharmacy schools in the U.S.
