Beginning in January 2023, Illinois clinicians are required to complete implicit bias training in order to renew their license or registration. This guide lists a variety of continuing education opportunities, most of which are free of charge.

Implicit bias occurs automatically and unintentionally and affects judgments, decisions, and behaviors. Implicit bias training is required under Illinois Public Act 102-0004.
