UI Health is currently recruiting for UHC + CHAMPIONS, a virtual after-school program for high school students in Belvidere, Chicago, Peoria, Rockford, and Urbana.

The Urban Health Club (UHC) + CHAMPIONS is a virtual after-school program for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors students interested in health careers and health advocacy.

Students must be college-bound on pre-health track
and enrolled in one of these five school districts:

• Belvidere Community Unit School District (District 100)
• Chicago Public Schools (District 299)
• Peoria Public Schools (District 150)
• Rockford Public Schools (District 205)
• Urbana School District (District 116)

The program will hold two virtual evening sessions a month during during September to December, 2023. Students must be attend all eight sessions to be considered for a stipend.
