Community Health Workers (CHWs) are front-line public health workers who link clients with health and social service systems to improve health and wellness.

This certification incorporated the 13 national core CHW competencies to prepare individuals to serve as CHWs.

The training includes self-paced online and live virtual Zoom sessions. Both are required to earn certification.
