Registration is now open for the conference, which will be held in person on UIC campus.

Promotion for the 2024 Minority Health Conference, with QR code.A wide variety of exciting and relevant individuals will discuss this year’s theme, Holistic Health: Moving Beyond Medicinal Care and Healing the Whole Self.

This year’s keynote speaker, urologist Dr. Terry Mason, is a former chief operating officer for the Cook County Department of Public Health. Dr. Mason has served the public health community for more than 30 years and has been a continual advocate for holistic health approaches and lifestyles and a strong leader in the Chicago community for health.

Keynote speakers, panelists, workshops, and abstract presentations will discuss uplifting differing perspectives and increasing the breadth of views and methods that address the health inequities faced by minority populations. The Conference will highlight perspectives and research from a multitude of individuals with different backgrounds and professions.
