Now Open: NHSC Students to Service Loan Repayment Program

Are you a student in your final year of a primary care health professions school? You may qualify for up to $120,000 in tax-free loan repayment.

New this year: A Maternity Care Target Area Supplemental Award of an additional $40,000 is available to physicians specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, or family medicine who practice obstetrics on a regular basis, as well as to certified nurse midwives.

Do you meet these basic eligibility requirements?

  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
  • Enrolled as a full-time student in the last year of a medical, nursing, or dental school with a graduation date during the application year
  • Pursuing an eligible discipline: MD/DO, DDS/DMD, NP, CNM, or PA
