National Center for Rural Health Professions is seeking a person to perform a variety of clerical duties, providing key administrative support for a number of the Center’s premiere programs in rural health.
The work includes handling records and correspondence, maintaining calendars and files and providing general administrative support for the operations of the department.
The office support specialist will, among other duties:
- Support of internal communications and scheduling of the department and related initiatives such as the Rural Training Track Collaborative.
- Support team in onboarding and engagement of state and national rural partners including hospitals, organizations and associations and rural training programs.
- Facilitate and coordinate the support needs of events such as the annual meeting of the Rural Training Track Collaborative, National Rural Health Day and RMED related engagement events
- Assist in data collection and record tracking for RMED and other related programs.
Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, two years’ college coursework, and experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems.
The position will be based on the campus at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford.
