NAMI Illinois is expanding and recruiting a community engagement manager to advance its agenda. The community engagement manager will develop and execute customer service intake protocols and assemble mental health resources to provide direct support to individuals and organizations that contact NAMI Illinois.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of professional experience, ideally in nonprofit, mission-driven organizations, as well as knowledge of Illinois mental health systems. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
This is a full-time position that reports directly to the executive director and plays a key role in the growth of the statewide organization.
Evanston-based NAMI Illinois offers competitive compensation, including health care and other benefits, along with significant opportunities for advancement. The organization currently operates virtually and expects to transition to a hybrid setting in early 2022.
