Register now for Public Health & Social Justice – Pathways to Minority Health Equity. This is the 2022 Minority Health Conference from the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Center for Minority Health Services.
The virtual conference is designed to improve knowledge of health disparities and social justice issues, build competencies among healthcare professionals, and develop collaboration with other service providers and community partners who serve minorities and other disadvantaged communities.
The planning committee includes Masood Athar, IDPH, and Mildred Hunter, Region V US Department of Health and Human Services.
Through invited presentations, break-out presentations and a plenary session, participants will have opportunities to review current data on health disparities; hear from healthcare agencies seeking to serve minority and underserved populations; and discuss strategies for awareness, prevention and treatment of diseases within minority populations.
CEs will be available.
