Recognizing the dire shortage of dentists and behavioral health specialists in rural areas, the Illinois Rural Health Association will once again offer a limited number of scholarships for the spring semester 2024.

Criteria for eligibility:

1. You are currently enrolled in either a dental or a graduate-level behavioral health or social work program for the spring semester 2024.

2. You plan to work in a dental shortage or behavioral health shortage area in Illinois upon graduation.

3. You were raised in, or are a current resident of, a rural medically underserved area in Illinois.

Applications will be accepted through Monday, November 27.
