The DuPage County Health Department is hiring two community health workers for positions at their Central Public Health Center in Wheaton. These are full-time positions, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm.

Responsibilities include: working with clients regarding access to public benefits, including insurance, medical financial assistance and food programs; providing client education on health-related financial matters, and maintaining contact with clients over time.

In addition to being fully bilingual, applicants must have completed some college course work and have three years of experience dealing with health insurance and/or healthcare billing. Salary varies based on previous experience.
