It will include both the philosophy of harm reduction and concrete skills to use with individuals with varying levels of acuity and types of risky behavior.
How to identify treatment goals, hold individuals accountable, and using motivational interviewing to support behavior change will be discussed.
The presenter is Kaitlin Thompson, MBA, LCSW, CADC. The director of COMPASS Health Center of Excellence, Thompson has more than 15 years of experience in the mental health care industry.
