This session will provide an overview of food safety principles to prevent foodborne illness.

There will also be a discussion about the roles of local health departments and the Illinois Department of Public Health in foodborne illness prevention and response.

This presentation is designed for community health workers, their employers, and allies. The presenter will be Darrah Dunlap, LEHP, of IDPH.
