Food and Nutrition Science Camps – Jul 9-14 & 16-21

NIU Steam Camps is offering a free Food and Nutrition Science Career and College Prep Summer Camp for high school students entering 12th grade.

Some of the many career paths in food science include:

  • Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist
  • Agribusiness Manager
  • Food Product Developer
  • Institutional Food Service Manager
  • Family and Consumer Science Educator
  • Research Scientist

Students will attend one of these weeklong residential summer camps on the NIU campus:

  • July 9-14, 2023
  • July 16-21, 2023

Priority will be given to students who:

  • Come from an under-represented race or ethnic background
  • Would be the first in their family to attend college
  • Demonstrate financial need
