The Minority Health Conference is a yearly gathering where professionals and students from allied health fields come together to uncover and focus on eliminating the health challenges encountered by marginalized populations.

Dr. Murray, a longtime voice for social justice and health care, is the chief medial officer at the Cook County Department of Public Health.

The 2023 conference theme is interdisciplinary and interprofessional health. The event will feature a panel of interdisciplinary professionals from across campus, student, faculty, and community member research, elective workshops, and much more.
