Are you interested in learning about job opportunities in the health care field? Need help preparing for the college application process? Looking to meet other high school students with similar interests? The Rural Health Careers Camp can help you with all this and more.

The Rural Health Careers Camp, sponsored by the National Center for Rural Health Professions, is a three-day, overnight, educational program for students interested in the health care field.

Students will participate in hands-on learning activities and labs that represent different health care careers and stay at an overnight facility. Campers will learn about job opportunities in the health care field, meet other students interested in health professions and receive help preparing for the college application process.

To be eligible, you must be a high school student from rural Illinois who intends to pursue a health care career and be available to stay overnight at a Rockford location, June 26-28, 2023. Preference goes to underclassmen and incoming freshman; seniors will be considered, pending availability.

The application deadline is Monday, May 15, 2023.
