Northwest Illinois AHEC was able to donate to a new hospital bed and a simulation manikin to the Highland Community College, through grant funding.
Jennifer Grobe, Ph.D., RN, CNE, Associated Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Highland said that the equipment will be utilized by nursing, medical assisting and basic nursing students. This will be able to offer a more hands-on patient learning for students.
