A Convening to Promote Diversity in Illinois’ Health Workforce – May 23

Illinois AHEC, along with planning partners from across the state, invites organizations to attend to learn about health workforce programs and initiatives for youth and young adults.

Organizations that work with youth and young adults throughout Illinois are encouraged to attend:

  • Community and faith-based organizations
  • Community college career counselors
  • DEI-focused organizations
  • Health care/STEM pathway programs
  • Human resources and financial aid directors
  • Mentorship programs
  • School guidance counselors
  • Workforce training centers
  • Youth employment organizations
  • Youth serving organizations

This in-person event is free, but registration is required. Check-in begins at 8:30 am. Lunch is on your own.

Location: Harold Washington Library, Cindy Pritzker Auditorium (lower level), 401 S. Plymouth Court (must use this entrance for event)
