Health Jam is an opportunity for elementary students to learn about potential future careers in the health care industry. The Oregon 5th grades came to KSB Hospital on October 4, 2019. 

There were a total of 101 students at KSB Hospital. This is a two day event. Day one is hands on learning experiences about diabetes, get fit, the human heart, the brain (KSB residents), pharmacy, drug prevention, flight nursing and musculoskeletal. Day tow was spent touring KSB Hospital departments: Lab, Dietary, two different ambulance services (OSF and Dixon Rural), Medical Imaging and Physical Therapy.
