Illinois AHEC, in collaboration with the Illinois Public Health Association, will be kicking off a series of Lunch & Learn sessions designed to increase the job search and professional presentation skills of community health workers.

The first session On Friday, December 8, will include an overview of the project and, more importantly, an opportunity for attendees to prioritize the topics that will be addressed in 2023 series. The agenda includes a quick poll concerning topics and time to discuss priorities.

In addition to the six Lunch & Learn sessions, participants will have the opportunity for one-on-one consultation with Judith Sayad from Illinois AHEC. Ms. Sayad has many years of experience helping individuals build their job search skills.

In 2023, the Lunch & Learn series will occur on the second Wednesdays of every month. CHWs can attend one or all sessions.
