The Illinois Department of Public Health’s 2023 minority health conference will explore opportunities and strategies to increase collaboration towards the goal of decreasing disparities in health outcomes.
The conference, titled Achieving a Healthy Illinois by Eliminating Health Disparities, brings together a wide variety of health professionals, community activists and faith-based organizations. Opportunities to build specific competencies are embedded throughout the conference tracks and workshops.

- Building Unprecedented Partnerships and Collaborations
- Understanding Disparities in Healthcare Accessibility
Pre-conference activities will start on Sunday, December 3, at 2:00 pm and include three workshops. The two-day conference features plenary sessions, breakout discussions, exhibits, and poster displays.
