Free Workshop: Structural Solutions to Diversity in Clinical Trials – Oct 13

The panel is focused on showcasing what we’re learning at UI Health and Sinai Chicago about structural solutions to diversity in cancer clinical trials.

The event is free (use “ASSETS” as the promo code). There’s parking / support for travel, if you contact Yamile Molina, ymolin2@uic.edu by Thursday.

You’ll hear perspectives from patients and former clinical trial participants, community and administrative leaders, and sponsors. Structural strategies also will be discussed, including investment in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and safety-net facilities.

The event is a preconference workshop for MOLA’s VII Annual Latinx Health Symposium. MOLA (Medical Organization for Latino Advancement) is a nonprofit association of Hispanic/Latino physicians and health professionals.
