The Stephenson County Health Department is hiring a Director of Community Health Education.

The position will perform consultative and promotional work in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a comprehensive public health education program in in Stephenson and Carroll Counties. The person will also plan, organize, and conduct speaking engagements on various health education topics for community groups, schools, and professional organizations, serves as a resource to staff of health departments and other organizations, and as a program coordinator for various public health initiatives.

Requirements include at least a bachelor’s degree in public health, community health, health education, or a related field as well as Certified Health Education Specialist or Master Certified Health Education Specialist status.
