South Central AHEC is accepting applications for three summer Rural Health Experiences.

Current available locations are:

• Pinckneyville Community Hospital (pvillehosp.org)
• Sparta Community Hospital & Quality Healthcare Clinics (spartahospital.com)
• Franklin Hospital, in Benton (franklinhospital.net)

This is a three-day experience for college students in health care to shadow multiple hospital departments and community health entities. This program gets the student fully immersed in a rural community and opens the door for building professional relationships.

Housing and limited meals are provided to the student.
