The summit provides an opportunity for dialogue between Illinois agricultural leaders and health professionals to share, learn, and develop relationships so we can better serve Illinois rural residents together.
The four-hour event will feature a panel discussion in which a producer, farm family, and health professionals share their experiences with mental health support. Group discussions, with opportunities for questions and answers, will consider:
- Agriculture and Mental Health: Essential Information for Health Professionals
- How We Can Better Support Mental Health Wellness for Our Agriculture Community
- Helping Our Local Rural People Together
The summit is presented by the SIU Farm Family Resource Initiative.
