Ogle County Hiring a Public Health Administrator

The Ogle County Health Department is seeking a public health administrator, who will serves as the chief executive officer of the department.

The position reports directly to the Ogle County Board of Health. The position provides overall leadership, guidance and direction to the Board of Health, staff, elected and appointed officials, governmental and voluntary agencies, and the community at large on all matters pertaining to public health.

The experienced professional will administer a department of sixteen employees.

A master’s degree in public health, public administration, or closely related field and at least three years of experience in upper-level management in a public health setting are preferred.
