The 30th annual Illinois Rural Health Association education conference offers an opportunity for rural administrators and clinicians to advance their professional skills, learn about a variety of topics and review best practices. The conference includes many opportunities for networking with colleagues from around the state.
The conference features several general sessions and over 20 concurrent sessions. Major issues facing rural hospitals will be discussed as well rural health clinic issues, the impact of federal policies on rural health and how community health workers can improve rural health care. Workshops on specific topics including behavioral health/addiction, trauma care and telehealth are included in the program.
The conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Champaign, Illinois. Registration for is $195 for professionals, $50 for students. The IRHA program is online. Register at ilruralhealth.org.
