In collaboration with the University of Chicago and Rush University, the Coleman Palliative Medicine Training Program has designed this series of webinars in order to enhance the clinical management and communication skills of providers, medical residents and students.
The 10-session webinar series covers a wide range of palliative care topics, including pain control, issues related to cardiac care, oncology, and several practice issues including consult etiquette, documentation and billing.
A variety of experts will present, including Dr. Stacie Levin, Dr. Sean O’Mahony and Charles Rhee. Participants earn 10 CME/CE credits and there is a fee to participate. Providers who work at safety net hospitals or health care systems may receive a free, one-on-one, 1-hour clinical mentoring session.
The Palliative Care Webinar series begins on March 15, 2022 and ends on May 17, 2022. Meeting are held weekly, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Payment is not required at the time of registration. Space is limited.
