This free webinar explores Opioid Use Disorder, its effect on our communities, and will discuss safe and compassionate care for persons with OUD.  Our speaker is Dr. Katherine Austman, MD, an Addiction and Family Medicine Physician with Gibson Area Hospital and Health Services, who specializes in substance use disorder, family practice and maternity care. She became interested in Medical Addiction Treatment when a growing number of her patients had a co-occurring substance use disorder, which was particularly concerning in her care for expectant mothers.
