About Health & Medicine’s Internship Program
Health & Medicine’s internship provides an opportunity to help launch a career in health policy with a focus on advancing health equity and eliminating and redressing structural inequities and applying the social determinants of health to health issues. This internship program is dedicated to supporting learning, network growth, and successful health careers. Interns will be able to gain experience in multiple health-related policy and practice projects and to focus on one of the main project areas at Health & Medicine.

Health & Medicine is dedicated to an equitable health career ecosystem that actively redresses forms of oppression that limit access to health careers based on people who experience marginalization.

Who should consider applying? Health & Medicine is especially interested in applicants who are pursuing a career focused on health policy and are committed to advancing health equity. Applicants do not need to be enrolled in or graduated from a degree program to apply for an internship. If you are interested in pursuing a health policy career, please consider applying. We encourage people currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in health or policy fields of study to apply as either part of their degree programs or to help launch their careers.
