Southeast Illinois AHEC and Fairfield Memorial Hospital are pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for the 2020 Healthcare Hero award. These scholarships are to help cover educational expenses for students in the health sciences and health professions. Applicants for Future Healthcare Hero awards must be graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in a health professions program for fall 2020.
Applicants must be pursuing entry into any health science program and must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must submit:

• Completed and signed application and release, including a personal statement.
• Transcripts (may be sent separately).
• Two letters of recommendation.
