The federal Office of Minority Health will conduct a webinar on “Assessing Culturally Appropriate Treatment in Communities of Color: Role of Providers to Improve Quality of Care for Opioid Use Disorder” on January 28.

The webinar will review National CLAS Standards and their role in ensuring patient engagement and improved care. Featured speakers include federal officials, representatives of treatment organizations and consultants working in the field.

Continuing education credit has been approved for certified health education specialists (CHES); the webinar is also eligible for 1 CME credit through Meharry Medical College. There is no charge for the webinar or for continuing education credits.
