The Central Illinois Area Health Education Center has recognized 60 students since 2015 with a Health Professions Student Training Award. These awards financially support college students enrolled in health related fields as they pursue their education.

This year, ten ambitious students from the 16 Central Illinois AHEC region Counties were selected based upon their personal and professional goal(s) of improving health-related access and care in rural or other underserved populations.
